Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s Omega Delta Omega Chapter Donates to 桃子视频

The Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority, Inc., Omega Delta Omega Chapter visited the campus to make a $1,000 donation to the University for student scholarships.

鈥淎s a means to support HBCU鈥檚, our chapter voted to adopt Charles Drew University, the only recognized HBCU in California,鈥� said Tamela R. Cash-Curry, Esq., President, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (R), Omega Delta Omega Chapter. 鈥淪ervice to all mankind is the motto of our sorority and supporting an institution that trains and educates students to provide excellent service to the community seemed a logical extension of our mission.鈥�

Elouise Tye, Chairman of the HBCU Committee, and Joycelyn Monson-Gordon, HBCU Committee Member, were also present during the check presentation.

AKA Sorority, Inc. is an international service organization, founded in 1908 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC. It is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African-American college-educated women.

AKA Sorority, Inc. has more than 325,000 initiated members in graduate and undergraduate chapters located in 12 countries including the United States, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Dubai, Germany, Japan, Liberia, Nigeria, South Korea, South Africa and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
