In partnership with the community he serves, his leadership in youth reconciliation post-genocide has been pivotal.
As the president of Saint Ignatius School in Kigali, Father Rugaragu continues to play a crucial role in advancing STEM education and fostering innovation within the community.
“By promoting dialogue, collaboration, and innovation, we can help to drive positive change, build stronger communities and create a better future for all,” said Dr. Lejeune Lockett, Director of the Ƶ Office of International Affairs.
The Global Impact Series is a testament to Ƶ’s dedication to global health and equity.
This initiative showcases Ƶ’s engagement with critical global health issues, including HIV/AIDS, cancer, and cardiovascular disease, through engaging speakers and events.
Ƶ also welcomed Chibamba Kanyama, Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to the US who is based in Washington, DC.
He met with University leaders and Ƶ’s Zambia grant team to discuss the Rise UP! project and Ƶ’s initiatives in Lusaka and the Copperbelt.
