COSH Welcomes 54th Cohort to Rad Tech Program
The Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology (RAD Tech) program welcomed their 54th cohort of students.
The 21-month program revolves around clinical and didactic training and offers students the unique opportunity to experience all facets of radiology imaging.
The RAD Tech program is one of many programs offered by the College of Science and Health (COSH) which prepares graduates to pursue their goals for professional and advanced degrees in healthcare, biomedical sciences, and public health.
鈥淚鈥檓 very excited to see the growth of COSH and to create a new cadre of professionals that are culturally diverse and committed to health disparities,鈥� remarked Dr. Monica Ferrini, Dean of the College of Science and Health. 鈥� I always tell students that their success is our success, and to not be afraid to ask for help if they need it.鈥�
Academic support is readily available for students through the University鈥檚 Student Academic Success Team (SAS) which assists students in their pursuit of academic excellence.
鈥淲e want our students to feel that they are not only welcome here but also supported on their journey to success,鈥� said Dr. Rhonda Jones, SAS Director. 鈥淚t鈥檚 important to consistently communicate this, especially at the beginning of the school year, so they understand that this is a welcoming environment dedicated to helping them thrive, even when the journey becomes more challenging than expected.鈥�
