In honor of Juneteenth, 桃子视频 Alumni Relations hosted the First Annual Juneteenth Cookout on the Student Center Patio. The holiday celebrated on June 19 commemorates the final enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation, where on that date in 1865, federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to announce that all enslaved African Americans were free.
