About

I serve as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Charles R. Drew University. I hold a Doctor of Health Administration from A.T. Still University. At ÌÒ×ÓÊÓÆµ, I’m actively involved in research, grant writing, and faculty development through the College of Medicine. Previously, I served as the Director of Graduate Medical Education (GME) at ÌÒ×ÓÊÓÆµ. I am board-certified in Healthcare Management by the American College of Healthcare Executives and participate in national committees and organizations. Beyond academics, I’m a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and participate in professional associations such as the American College of Healthcare Executives. I mentor ÌÒ×ÓÊÓÆµ students and residents, contributing to research on healthcare challenges. I have published work and presented at conferences on healthcare administration and medical education.

Research Interests

Health systems, social determinants of health (SODH), and health equity, with a specific focus on expanding primary care in South LA and advocating for equitable care for disadvantaged populations
